Thank Yooo! |
 |
After I read the statement issued by the Flyers on their website, written by the Executive VP, Ron Ryan, I decided he was the man to write my first letter to. Being that the letter was kind of heated, it was nice to see him get back to me promptly and with sincerity. He's the first one I'd like to thank here.
I want to thank Mr. Ryan for not dismissing my letter as the usual bunk and for being such a help with all I'm doing to address this decision the Flyers have made. With his help and cooperation this site can be quite informative. It's good to see that the Flyers are truly a class organization, especially when it comes to fan issues.
Update: With the knowledge that the Flyers will not be handing me any info on the jersey change issue after all, this site will not be any more informative due to their input but only due to whatever input I can secure from other sources, if I choose to do so. However, I still wish to thank Mr. Ryan and Kathi Gillin, Head of Marketing, for their patience, even though they ultimately had nothing further to offer the site, as I wished they would have.
Secondly, thanks to the folks at DeeWeb for letting me put this up on their server so I can have this on the internet for all to see. They could have just shook their heads and asked, "Why do you want to put that up here?" but they didn't because they understand. Yes, they understand. Last, but certainly not least, thanks to all of you for coming here and taking the opportunity to voice your opinions and listen to mine. Hopefully it wasn't a bad experience for you and you enjoyed yourself somewhat. And maybe you learned something. At worst, you learned that you're the only one in your town who just won't let go of the old orange jerseys. At best, you learned that that cutey next store shares your opinion and you have something to approach them about at that next barbeque. Or was it the other way around? |
